Slate jewelry with our poured acrylic technique applied is very unusual, organic, and lightweight. This pendant is about 2.75 inches total drop from stainless steel components and a blue faceted Swarovski bead. It includes 3 Swarovski crystals and comes with a 22 inch stainless steel chain. Coordinating earrings are just over 1 inch and also have the same blue crystal beads and Swarovski crystal, hanging from surgical steel wires. The collection uses a metallic sapphire blue and black for beautiful results! Can buy separately.
 
Artist Kat Morris quarries real slate from Rockmart GA, and Delta, PA, and then, through a 12-step process, creates unique slate jewelry! These are not machine made - each one is handcrafted in our home studio in Ringgold GA. 
 
Each piece of slate is carefully selected, split and shaped until it is smooth and lightweight. Then, our poured acrylic technique is individually appled to each piece of primed and prepared slate. Once the backs are painted, the slate goes under the UV light with 2 coats of resin. Once cured, embellishments like wirework, Swarovski® crystals and other beads are added to make stunning one-of-a-kind original pieces of jewelry! Nothing else like 'em!
