In this collection we use 3 different colors: black base with, gold, along with bronze. Pendant slate is just under 1.75 inches, with a faceted black bead and gold Swarovski crystal. Comes with a 20 inch stainless steel chain. Or upgrade to one of our stainless steel Omegas. Earrings are just over .75 inch pieces of slate hanging from a black faceted bead - also with gold Swarovski crystals, on 18k gold plated surgical steel wires.
Artist Kat Morris quarries real slate from Rockmart GA, and Delta, PA, and then, through a 12-step process, creates unique slate jewelry!
Each piece of slate is carefully selected, split and shaped until it is smooth and lightweight. Then, our poured acrylic technique is individually appled to each piece of primed and prepared slate. Once the backs are painted, the slate goes under the UV light with 2 coats of resin. Once cured, embellishments like wirework, Swarovski® crystals and other beads are added to make stunning one-of-a-kind original pieces of jewelry! Nothing else like 'em!
