These pieces are part of our Emerald City collection of poured acrylic jewelry on slate. Slate is lightweight, durable, organic, and completely different - you'll love it!! In this collection we use four colors: metallic emerald green, gold and copper, with black. The pendant has 3 Swarovski crystals on the surface and two beads, hung from a stainless steel bail. Comes with a 22 inch stainless steel chain. Earrings are a total drop of about 1.5 inches, on surgical steel wires. Can buy a la carte.
 
Artist Kat Morris quarries real slate from Eastern PA, and then, through a 12-step process, creates unique slate jewelry! These are not machine made - each one is handcrafted in our home studio in Ringgold GA. 
 
Each piece of slate is carefully selected, split and shaped until it is smooth and lightweight. Then, our poured acrylic technique is individually appled to each piece of primed and prepared slate. Once the backs are painted, the slate goes under the UV light with 2 coats of resin. Once cured, embellishments like wirework, Swarovski® crystals and other beads are added to make stunning one-of-a-kind original pieces of jewelry! Nothing else like 'em!
